Summary
In this Memorandum of Understanding, countries of West Africa agree to cooperate in research, information exchange, and reporting on cetaceans and manatees (as well as other CMS Appendix I species) in the region, as part of their work under the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS). The CMS Secretariat functions as the Secretariat to this MOU.
